Aimee Marie Thatcher
{On a Monday, I am waiting
Tuesday, I am fading
by Wednesday, I can't sleep}
••AUDITIONS••
Hi, I'm Aimee Marie Thatcher. I'm eighteen years old and I work at my fathers camp. I'm a counsuler for derpressed kids, I can relate to them really well which is kind of sad, don't you think? I dunno, I was depressed for a while, still am slightly. At first I refused the meds, I didn't want to be a zombie. But, my depression started to worsen, my, then boyfriend, Kieth stayed true and came over every day to try and get me out of bed, get me to do something. Nothing helped. Finally he put his foot down and made me take the meds. To my surprise, I wasn't a zombie. I had my life back and I would want to do things, it was amazing really. I turned my life around and soon after, Kieth and I got engaged! It was amazing. But... there's still a part of me that wants to lie in bed and hide from the world, that part of me surfaces sometimes. Maybe that's why I was so keen to take this job.
I had a hard time growing up, dad was so involved with his work we all had to fend for ourselves. I felt like I had to fend formyself at such an early age. I didn't mind it though, it made me mature faster and helped me realize things about my peers I wouldn't've noticed before. People are always shocked when I tell them I'm eighteen, I look and act older. People always guess I'm in my late twenties, by personality anyways. I don't mind it too much, it's not too bad. I was able to drink at a younger age, haha, kidding... slightly.
My birthday is October 22nd... I like having a fall birthday, y'know? I like when the leaves are changing colors and the cool breeze when its not quite winter yet, it's nice. Plus, it's amazing for outdoor birthday parties! Fall was really nice growing up in Ohio. I love actual seasons, not just summer all the time like Florida, or winter all the time like Alaska. Ohio has four distinct seasons, and I like all of them. Some people say Ohio is boring, I don't think so. Maybe it's because I'ved lived there my whole life but, whatever, I love this state and I refuse to listen to what others say about it. [[And I'm a canon character.]]
••HAIRANDMAKEUP••
Aimee's appearance changed frequently. She's always changing her hair color and loves to dress out of the ordinary. Her hair color has been black, brown, blonde, orange, pink, you name it, she's done it. Her current hair color is reddish alburn at the moment and she likes it. She feels like she's going to stick with it for a while... but she tends to act on impulse rather than a long drawn out thought process. Her hair is long and reaches the middle of her back when straight (which it almost always is). She has bangs that are cut at a side angle and cover her right eye, she loves her bangs and wouldn't cut them for the world. Her eyes are a vibrant green and, luckily, she has good vision, not perfect though. She has a pair of black, square framed glasses incase she needs to see something far away.
Her complexion is a creamy ivory color. She's pale, but it suits her. She never had a problem with acne which she is very grateful for. She has a few freckles spotted in various places all over her body, mostly from sitting out in the sun without putting on sunscreen. Aimee has a petite nose (she broke it once, the doctors made it a tad smaller when the reset it) and a defined jaw with. Her lips are full and she's never had surgery to make them that way. She has four piercings in each ear. She has three on her ear lobe and a bar in the left ear and the cartilage pierced in the right. She had her lip pierced when she was going through a 'phase', as her dad called it, when she was sixteen. She let the hole close up but kept her belly button ring.
She's not very tall, her height was always an issue. She's 5'3'' and she was made fun of relentlessly in school for always being the short one in her group of friends. She was the shortest one in her graduating class the previous year. She's very sensative about her height. To make herself feel better, she wears high heels most of the time now.
••PLAYINGTHECHARACTER••
Aimee's strengths vary, really. Her first strength is her loving fiance, Kieth. He was there for her through thick and thin and she doesn't know what she would ever do without him being there for her. Second, her wit. Aimee is a very intelligent girl. She was the top of her class, even through her depression. All she would do was sit in her room and do homework, she'd blow everyone and everything off so she could be alone, and work seemed like her only friend until she got help. Even though she used it as a scape goat, it brought her grade up immensely. Her third strength is her compassion. Aimee opens up to people and gives them her all. She's able to relate to people really well and tends to feel their pain when they're telling her a story or relating their lives to her. She can help them actually work past their troubles instead of just telling them some nonsense like her counsuler did, (though she's now relaying her problems to her patients and the sessions are getting reversed more and more frequently). Finally, her fourth strength is her drive. It would be a laughable statement if she wasn't on her meds. Before her anti-depressants she wasn't motivated to do anything, but now, she can't stop doing something. Not in an obsessive compulsive way, just a way that shows how she's grown. If she has a task, she won't stop until it's done. She fights for what she believes in and what she thinks is right, she won't stop until others see her way.
Everyone who has a strength has a weakness. Stacy's aren't too bad, but they matter to her. Firstly, as ironic as it is, her weakness is also her fiance. She would go to the ends of the earth for him without a second thought. She loves him so much, she'd do anything. She needs him to be happy in order for her to be happy. Secondly, a weakness of hers is a good book. If she sees a book that interests her, she has to get it. She has to get the book and curl up on her porch and read it until it's through. She loves to read. Her third weakness is depressed teenagers. She can sympathize with them because she was at their spot once (part of her still is). She took the job at her fathers camp because she wanted to help these kids, and she needed a summer job.
Aimee's personality depends on where she is. When she's home alone with Kieth, she's relaxed and easy going. She's at ease with Kieth and is truly herself. She cracks jokes without meaning to and says things that are completely random because she is so comfortable with him. She doesn't hold anything back around Kieth and it has made their relationship that much better because they're so in tune with eachother. When she's with her friends, family, or others, she has her guard up. She never fully lets herself through unless she's with Keith. She has a protective shield up when she is out with people. She's slightly paranoid and is always looking out for an insult, attack, or something else. She is never truly at ease when she isn't home.
Like everyone, she has her flaws. One is the protective shield she won't let down when she's out with friends, she's working really hard to let go of the shield and relax, it's going slowly though. She isn't quite ready to be vulnerable away from Keith yet. Another one of her flaws is she can't sit still. Period. She constantly has to have something in her hands or tap her foot, twirl her hair, crack her knuckles, as long as it involves some sort of movement, she's doing it. She doesn't have ADHD, though many think so, she just fidgets. It's natural for her, it's been like that since she was a little kid. The teachers always had to sit next to her during nap time when she was younger. Sometimes, when she gets angry, she gets a southern accent. If she yells, the accent finds its way into her voice and it's a mystery to her family and friends as to how it got there. She's lived in Ohio her hole life, never been to the South. Somehow, though, she picked up the accent.
Aimee gets annoyed easily as well. If someone taps a pen or drums their nails on the desk she snaps and shouts at them to quit. She can't stand ticking clocks on the walls, she has to move them into another room or take the batteries out. They keep her up at night and slowly drive her insane. People singing who have horrible voices is another thing that sets her off. She doesn't have a bad voice so she does sing occasionally, but people who weren't meant to sing shouldn't. She can't be near someone who can't sing and is still trying to, it hurts her ears and makes her angry. Aimee also cannot stand people who don't shower. In her last year of middle school, she dated this kid, Jack was his name, and he showered once every week or so. He was very attractive and sweet but smelled terrible. She ended their relationship quickly because he refused, even after she asked, to shower more often.
Aimee loves to curl up on her porch with a good book, especially when it rains. The overhang on the porch provides a nice little shelter for her to be outside during a shower. She loves the sound of rain on the ceiling/roof. It's very calming (its not a steady rythmn like a clock). She also loves to cook. Ever since she was a little girl she'd always help cook the meals, and in turn she became very skilled in that area. She cooks for Keith almost every night and loves it. She loves the smell of the spices and herbs before and after they cook. Aimee also loves to sing. Even when she was depressed she'd sing. Granted, during those times the songs she sang weren't the happiest of songs, but she still sung. Aimee has a talented voice and she's not afraid to share it.
••INTHEAUDIANCE••
Aimee has two sisters, Elizabeth and Lacey. She loves her sisters to death and is very close with both of them. Elizabeth is the oldest and cares for the other two like a mother. The three are closer than ever now that their mother is dead and their dad treats his job like his family. Aimee is the middle child at eighteen years of age while her sister Elizabeth is nineteen and Lacey is seventeen. The sisters are close so close in age making their bond even closer. They are always there for eachother, no matter what.
Lacey and Elizabeth also work at the camp. The one good thing about their father is that he always gives his daughters anything that they want. Period. It's come in very handy in their lives. Especially now with their desperate need of income for the summer. Aimee is trying to get her college fund going and the job is helping... somewhat.
Their mother was an amazing woman when she was alive. She was always there for the girls and took them out whenever they wanted. Out of the three sisters, Aimee was the closest with their mother. Aimee would always go on shopping 'getaways' with her mother when things got rough at home or at school. She was devastated when their mom died. That's what sparked her depression... she's never really come to grips with it. She still sees her mom turn a corner in the house or hears her in the night, it still haunts her.
Their dad is a different story. His work is his wife and family now. Ever since their mom died he's spent all his time at the camp. He leaves the house early and comes home late. He never spends time with his kids anymore unless their at the camp or on the phone with him in a rushed call. He's been very distant for so long, Aimee feels very detatched from him.
(first person)Write in atleast 4 full paragraphs their history. Inclue bad as well as good points in their life.
I was born on October 22, 1990. I don't remember much until I was five, but I was told I had an amazing childhood by my parents. I believe them. I've seen videos of the family running around at amusement parks and circus', I remember parts of those experiences... which is where my fear of clowns came from. I remember elementary school the most, really. It was so simple and so carefree to be in the 'single digit' numbers. Your main concerns were what pokemon cards your neighbor had and how many barbies your sister had, I loved those days. I loved being innocent and not worrying about taking meds or having to go to work in the mornings, no everything was carefree back then.
After fifth grade, everything slowly started to slide downhill. I started getting made fun of because of my nose, my height, my teeth. I tried my best to ignore the hurtful things that the kids said to me but in the end they won. I got braces, wore taller shoes, and got a nose job. I dunno, I'm happier now that I'm comfortable in my own skin. I needed those experiences to build up my confidence and help me realize that thsoe girls don't mean anything to me. They were all just insecure about themselves so they picked on me for some sick uplifting feeling.
In highschool I started to come into my own. I had more friends and eventually met Keith. He was the best thing I could have ever asked for. We were friends at first, things were awkward but cute with us in the beginning. But I knew from day one that he was something special, and now we're engaged. I love him to death and he was there with me when my mom died, when I was at rock bottom, he's never left my side and I can't ask for a better guy. Now I have this new job at my dad's camp and I'm excited to help others and get money.

Bella stood up straight, her senses heightened after she hunted, as Rosalie walked up. "So Edward, I hear you can't even keep track of your child," Rose smirked. Bella bit back a snicker and looked between her husband and sister. Rosalie continued taunting Edward and Bella's attention drifted back to Renesmee. She was so beautiful and dainty and... and well, perfect. Bella watched her daughter dance around under the cover of the trees, giggling and smiling all the while. How had Bella managed to obtain the perfect life? She had Edward, the best husband anyone could even hope for. A daughter who could show you her thoughts, speak fluidly, and be loved so much. Her new family, all of them, they were so caring and beautiful. They cared for eachother so much. And she even got to keep in touch with Charlie and Renee, and, Jacob was still her best friend. Could things get any better?
Bella was ripped from her happy thought when she heard Rosalie's voice drifting to her. “Never mind, I don't need you anymore. Nessie darling, would you like Auntie Rosie to show you how to break a Rabbit's neck so that it's still alive while you eat it but can't struggle? It's a lot of fun. Wait, I have an even better idea. Let's go with Uncle Emmett and find that big ol' grizzly bear. I'll even let you take a few swings at him!” Bella froze, choking on the air that got hitched in her throat. She didn't have enough time to think, she just ran. She ran as fast as she could to where Renesmee, Rosalie, and Emmett were. A snarl escaped her lips as she grabbed Renesmee from Rosalie and held her protectively in her arms. "Rosalie I swear if you ever think of doing something so stupid as putting my daughter in danger, in any way, again, I will personally make you pay for it." All friendliness was forgotten, Bella's only concern or thought was the frightened child in her arms. Renesmee wasn't immortal like the rest of them! Rosalie surely knew that! Renesmee could break. She could get hurt. And Rosalie had told her to go up against a Grizzly Bear for God's sake!
Bella was seething, red fury clouded her vision and she forced herself to calm down, she forced herself to breathe and think of something happy. To concentrate on Renesmee's face, Edward's face. She calmed down just enough for the red to ebb away when Carlisle and Esme skidded to a halt in the clearing. Carlisle was irate, he said his thoughts to Rosalie and his features changed from calm and collected to a little cold and furious. Bella held Renesmee closer to her and backed herself into Edward's arms.
"Let's get out of here, we're all fed. Rose can stay with Emmett if she wants to, since neither of them have caught anything yet," Bella's voice was ice and it matched her eyes. How could Rosalie be so stupid? Bella swallowed, trying to push the anger completely from her. She didn't want another fight, not now. Rosalie could take time and think about what she did, time would cool everything down.
I can redo the RP if you want it from this characters POV, this is one I had from another site... hope it works!!
